St Peter's Church Hall
Built in 1927, the Memorial Hall is currently rented by a number of local charities and groups. Equipped with a stage, two grand pianos, a fully fitted kitchen and removable tables & chairs, it is a versatile and good value venue for hire in central Brighton. It also has good access for the disabled, is on most major bus routes and can accommodate 100 people seated or 120 standing. Among our regulars are Alcoholics Anonymous, Wutan martial arts, Narcotics Anonymous and the Sussex Musicians' Club.
Rates
Non-charity rate is £15.00 per hour while charities can rent the hall for £10.00 per hour.
In both cases, if live concerts are to be performed, then PRS (Performing Rights Society) fees may
be incurred, usually £10-20 depending on what is performed. St Peter's Church Hall has Public
Liability Insurance but no alcohol licence. Non-charitable organisations may be asked to place a
deposit.
